  • Reply to Earl Fortescue's letter. States that if the Lord Lieutenant declines to get involved in the distribution of the supplementary clothing, the orders from the War Office are given to the Tradesmen employed by the Colonels of the regiments. The Colonels do not need to get involved as Earl fortescue had suggested.
